What is Gynecology?
Gynecology is the study of the female reproductive organs. Many gynecologists also specialize in obstetrics, or the study of childbirth.
An obstetrician/gynecologist, or OB/GYN for short, is a doctor who both delivers babies and treats diseases of the female reproductive organs.
